Overview
New 70,000 sq. ft. Public Safety Facility housing the City of Kerrville Police Department, Fire Department Administration Offices, Municipal Courts, and Emergency Operations Center.
The multi-agency facility replaces the former police station while providing needed additional space for fire administration and establishing the City’s first dedicated Emergency Operations Center. In addition to the core public safety functions, the building program also includes a community room, conference rooms, support staff offices, and information technology systems to serve citywide operations. Additionally, the design of a secure courtyard provides private outdoor space for staff to enjoy.
The one-story building is designed with a “Hill Country” aesthetic, incorporating regionally appropriate materials and architectural elements that reflect the local context.
